“NORMAL”
Film Synopsis
Every person in the world has a full range of emotions, fears, desires, dreams and goals. This range is very different from one person to another, but that is what makes us human.
NORMAL is a film about being happy with who you are, and that being "Normal" is not about what others think, but about what individuals think about themselves.
NORMAL is about what many in society would consider "extreme" characters (dominatrixes), that in reality are just regular young women, with a kinky side, seeking to obtain their dreams.
The film follows our stars, Natalie, and Michael, an arrogant director thru an evolution of their pursuit of normalcy and happiness, and shows that not everything needs to be what people think it should be. As Natalie struggles to balance a new romance and her job, Michael destroys his career and marriage with sex and drugs. Through a mutually beneficial yet highly unorthodox relationship between the two of them, we explore the dominant and submissive behavior patterns that exist in everyday life, and we begin to realize just how normal they really are.

We're holding a talent contest sponsored by Arrid Deodorant.
The winner of the contest will receive $20,000 (+ 15% agency fee if applicable) for 1 year's media usage. 2nd year option of $30,000 and a 3rd year option
of $40,000.
The money will cover 6 days of work, including TV shoots, radio records and appearances. Any extra days will be negotiated additionally.
We are looking for a caucasian male, late 30's to early 50's, that is
quick witted, comedic and improvisational. He should be politically
neutral but opinionated, bureaucratic, with a powerful voice that
commands attention. He should have a polished, clean cut appearance and
the ability to adlib in "character" easily. He is a Steven Colbert, Jon
Stewart type.
Talent will be auditioning to win the role of the head of the Wetness
Protection Agency. The audition materials from the casting, as well as
footage shot in the waiting area and photographs and footage supplied by
the talent themselves, will be used on the Arrid website to stage an
online election where the American public will vote to elect the
"Executive Director" of the "Arrid Wetness Protection Program" via the
Arrid Wetness Protection Program website. The auditions will be up on
the website from Sept.1st to Oct. 8th for 5 weeks. Each week they will
feature 8 new candidates and the final 8 candidates will be up for the
final voting by November 7th.
On November 8th the winning talent will be awarded the job and the
contract. Up until that point, the talent shown in the website footage
will NOT be paid. The payment goes to the winner only. Talent must agree
by signing audition release that their likenesses will be used without compensation, unless they win.

The casting will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, August 2nd and 3rd.
Wanted: 1 male and 1 female actor for leading roles in silent, black and white student short to be filmed between Aug. 12th - 13th. Both male and female must be able to pass for 25 years of age.
